Worship

  • We hold weekly Sunday Services, normally at 2.30pm, in a pleasant and welcoming church building with a friendly atmosphere. Services, including sacraments, can be in the Anglican or Non Conformist tradition. We are a part of the Parish as well as the Partnership, having representation on the Parochial Church Council.
  • We also have several special services:
a Christmas Eve Candlelight Service, followed by coffee and mince pies
Harvest Festival, followed by Harvest Tea
a Memorial & Dedication Service, when we remember those dear to us who have died – and especially those who have died in the previous year
Celebration of Marriage – an annual service for all, to focus on marriage and to renew vows.
Church and Sunday School Anniversary – in June
People often express appreciation of our traditional, though varied, services.
Toy and Gift Service – in December, where gifts are brought, to be sent to poorer families in Ancoats, Manchester.
