Worship
- We hold weekly Sunday Services, normally at 2.30pm, in a pleasant and welcoming church building with a friendly atmosphere. Services, including sacraments, can be in the Anglican or Non Conformist tradition. We are a part of the Parish as well as the Partnership, having representation on the Parochial Church Council.
- We also have several special services:
a Christmas Eve Candlelight Service, followed by coffee and mince pies Harvest Festival, followed by Harvest Tea a Memorial & Dedication Service, when we remember those dear to us who have died – and especially those who have died in the previous year Celebration of Marriage – an annual service for all, to focus on marriage and to renew vows. Church and Sunday School Anniversary – in June People often express appreciation of our traditional, though varied, services. Toy and Gift Service – in December, where gifts are brought, to be sent to poorer families in Ancoats, Manchester.
Young People
- There are School services in the church – at least at the end of each term and at Harvest. Kettleshulme St James School is a Church of England School
- We have a Sunday School, which meets on the first Sunday in the month.
- There is a Parents/Carers and Toddler Group: ‘Seedlingsat Kettleshulme Church’ meets weekly during term time on Thursdays 9.30 – 12
